Exclusive Development Capital Mandate for a Biomass Waste to Renewable Fuels Plant

What is the Louisiana Green Fuels Project?

Louisiana Green Fuels ("LGF") is a deeply negative carbon footprint plant in North Eastern Louisiana that will convert waste materials from certified managed forests into renewable Sustainable Aviation Fuel (“SAF”) and renewable naphtha with an integrated carbon capture and Class VI sequestration well. The fuels will qualify for substantial Carbon Credits under the Federal Renewable Fuel Standard Program ("RFS") and under the California Low Carbon Fuels Standard ("LCFS").

LGF is being developed by Strategic Biofuels LLC ("SBf"), a project development company, where the management team have a combined 200 years experience in the sector.

PLANT SITE
Port of Columbia

Strategic Biofuels is building the Louisiana Green Fuels plant at the Port of Columbia which offers numerous logistical, regulatory and feedstock supply benefits.

TECHNOLOGY SETS
Key Partners

Partners providing the technology sets for the LGF project include:
BP, TRI, Johnson Matthey, Mitsubishi, Topseo, Linde, and Arvos.

OPERATIONS
Plant O&M

Long-term plant operation and maintenance contract with extremely experienced O&M provider in the sector.

PRODUCTION
Supply of Feedstock

The facility location was selected in part because of its proximity to the feedstock for both the on-site power facility and the biorefinery, namely the woody biomass waste from sustainably managed forests.

REVENUES
Offtake of Products

Long-term agreements for purchase of all the fuel and carbon credits has been secured. The offtaker is a global Fortune 500 company and in investor in the project.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Local & State

Governor Edwards along with multiple State and Federal have visited the site to highlight the project's importance. In addition, the State has supported the project with both grant money for site development and allocation in carry forward tax exempt bonds.
