Ballast Rock Foundation: Giving Back During 2022 and Beyond
This year we established the Ballast Rock Foundation as the vehicle for our organization's charitable giving. The mission of the foundation is to help alleviate housing insecurity in all its forms while providing transparency to donors. The Foundation also provides the opportunity to engage our employees and investors in giving back by working closely with our carefully selected charitable organizations that help us fulfill this mission. We partner with local and national charities that maintain the highest standards, using research tools such as Guidestar and Charity Navigator to verify sound financial standing.
We are happy to report that since its inception in August 2022 the Ballast Rock Foundation has donated $55,000 in total so far. This includes $15,000 raised from employees and investors and $15,000 we matched, which allowed us to donate $30,000 toward Hurricane Ian relief to the following organizations:

We would like to end the year with another matching campaign for the holiday season. Please consider making a donation before December 30th, and the Ballast Rock Foundation will match your donation dollar for dollar, up to a global cap of $200,000. This campaign will go towards a contribution to Habitat for Humanity International.
