Based in Atlanta, Ian directs Ballast Rock's workforce multi-family operations including deal identification, monitoring, and structuring. He works with our in-house property management team to oversee assets and deliver our value add strategy and positive social impact. Ian is a graduate of The Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania. From 2009 to 2016, Ian worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York City, becoming responsible for the structuring and marketing of various financial products. His transaction experience includes products in currency and interest rate derivatives, equity derivatives, infrastructure financing, collateralized lending, and mortgage securitization.  Ian is a self taught computer programmer and has studied various computer science topics including algorithm analysis and data structures.
